SmartAdvocate will run SmartAdvocate Connect 2026 from Nov. 5 to Nov. 7, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona, with expanded training around workflow automation, integrations and its SmartIntelligence built-in AI features. The company did not disclose expected attendance, event revenue or full pricing details, though registration has opened.
The annual user conference is aimed at attorneys, legal staff, firm administrators and legal technology leaders who use the SmartAdvocate case-management platform. The event’s focus signals where legal vertical SaaS is heading: vendors are trying to make AI part of the daily system of record for case work, rather than a separate tool that sits outside firm operations.
What is SmartAdvocate Connect 2026?
SmartAdvocate Connect 2026 is a three-day customer conference for law firms using SmartAdvocate’s case-management software. The program combines product training, expert sessions, partner demonstrations and networking, with more emphasis this year on personalization by role and user experience level.
The agenda will include more than 20 educational sessions covering platform best practices, advanced configuration, reporting, automation and SmartIntelligence features. Attendees will be able to choose among core classes, advanced options and refresher courses, rather than following a single shared schedule.
SmartAdvocate says its software is used by more than 20,000 legal professionals nationwide. The company positions the platform as a system for managing cases, documents, communications, reporting and firm operations, and says it supports more than 175 integrations.
Why is SmartAdvocate emphasizing built-in AI?
The conference will give users a closer look at SmartIntelligence, the AI layer built into SmartAdvocate. The company describes the feature set as supporting intake, document-heavy processes, communications and analysis of case data, though it did not provide adoption figures or usage benchmarks for the AI tools.
That framing fits a broader enterprise software pattern. Vertical SaaS companies are using customer events to move AI from product messaging into workflow training, where adoption depends less on demos and more on whether staff can apply the tools to routine work without breaking existing processes.
The emphasis on SmartIntelligence built-in AI training also gives SmartAdvocate a way to keep its user conference tied to product expansion. Law firms evaluating AI features in case-management platforms are likely to care less about broad AI claims and more about whether the software reduces manual intake work, document handling and status communication inside the platform they already use.
What will attendees get?
The 2026 program includes several formats intended to support different user needs:
- Educational sessions on best practices, reporting, configuration, automation and AI-enabled features.
- Separate core, advanced and refresher courses for role-based scheduling.
- Ask the Expert appointments for one-on-one guidance.
- A Continuing Legal Education opportunity.
- Demonstrations from SmartAdvocate integration partners.
- Networking sessions for customers and other legal operations professionals.
Allison Rampolla, SmartAdvocate’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, said the 2026 agenda is meant to give users more choice in selecting sessions while introducing newer legal technology features. The company has not yet detailed which SmartIntelligence capabilities will be new at the conference.
