SailPoint’s Navigate 2026 agenda centers on identity security in the age of AI, with the conference scheduled for Oct. 5-8 in Austin, Texas. The core Oct. 6-7 program includes keynotes, masterclasses, workshops, breakout sessions, partner activity and expo halls, while theCUBE plans separate coverage focused on how enterprises govern AI agents alongside people and machines.

SailPoint has framed the event around “AI, secured,” a company position that reflects its view that AI-driven work is creating new identity-security problems. No product launch, attendance figure or financial disclosure has been announced in the supplied event materials.

What is on SailPoint Navigate’s agenda for Oct. 6 and Oct. 7?

Tuesday, Oct. 6, is scheduled to include keynotes, masterclasses, workshops, breakout sessions and partner and expo-hall programming, according to SailPoint’s agenda. The company also lists its conference party that evening. SailPoint says its Navigate Music Festival will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and feature The All-American Rejects.

Wednesday, Oct. 7, has the same main conference elements: keynotes, masterclasses, workshops, breakouts and partner and expo-hall activity. It also includes a Women in Identity program. The full event begins Oct. 5 with a hackathon, partner summit, expo activity and opening reception; Oct. 8 is an optional Identity University training day.

SailPoint lists Sebastian Thrun, Sarah Guo and Margaret Mitchell among its featured speakers. Those listings describe conference programming, rather than commitments to specific themes or announcements.

What will theCUBE cover at SailPoint Navigate?

theCUBE’s coverage window is listed for Oct. 6-7. Its stated editorial lens is adaptive identity, lifecycle governance for agents, and the convergence of human, machine and AI-agent identities. Rebecca Knight and Krista Case, principal analyst and practice lead for cyber resilience and security at theCUBE Research, are listed as hosts.

The disclosed guest roster includes SailPoint founder and CEO Mark McClain, President Matt Mills, CTO Chandra Gnanasambandam, CMO Wendy Wu, SVP of Sales Engineering Jeff Hickman, VP of Product Management Lori Robinson and SVP of Product Marketing Jaishree Subramania. Amit Jain of HCLTech is also listed.

The focus is practical: organizations must govern access beyond employees and traditional machine identities when AI agents can act for people, interact with applications and data, acquire permissions and execute tasks at machine speed, according to a SiliconANGLE preview. Case said buyers should assess whether identity platforms preserve relevant context throughout an agent’s work lifecycle.

SailPoint’s own position is that effective agent governance includes identifying agents, assigning accountable human owners, reviewing access, and controlling the tools or service accounts agents use. Those are first-party product and policy claims, not independently verified results. SailPoint says its Agent Identity Security offering, now described as SailPoint Agentic Fabric, is designed to aggregate AI agents, retain ownership information and support access review and revocation.

How can people watch Navigate remotely?

SailPoint says people unable to attend in Austin can register for a free keynote livestream. The company says an on-demand replay will be available through Oct. 31. That option covers the keynotes; the materials do not say that all workshops, masterclasses or breakouts will be streamed.
