Micron Q4 2026 earnings included $54.23 billion in fiscal fourth-quarter revenue, up 379% from a year earlier, and net income of $37.7 billion, according to results reported Sept. 30. The company linked its record quarter to demand for memory used in AI infrastructure, but did not disclose an AI-specific revenue figure or a customer breakdown.
The reported revenue growth was larger than the common description of a near-quadrupling. A 379% increase means the current figure is 4.79 times the prior-year quarter, implying revenue of roughly $11.32 billion a year earlier, subject to rounding.
Micron reported adjusted earnings per share of $33.42, excluding certain costs including stock-based compensation. That was above the $31.61 per-share Wall Street target cited by SiliconANGLE. Revenue also exceeded the cited $51.07 billion analyst estimate.
Net income rose from $3.2 billion in the prior-year period to $37.7 billion. The figures mark a sharp change in scale, though revenue and net income measure different points on an income statement. Revenue and income are not interchangeable measures, particularly when comparing growth and profitability.
What did Micron forecast after its Q4 2026 earnings?
For the following fiscal quarter, Micron forecast midpoint revenue of $61.5 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $38.15. Those are company projections, rather than reported results. They were above the $57 billion revenue and $35.40 adjusted-EPS expectations cited in the report.
Chief Executive Sanjay Mehrotra said the company had set quarterly and full-year records and was increasing investment in technology, products and manufacturing. Micron did not provide a product-level account in the supplied results coverage that would quantify how much of the quarter came from AI systems versus its other markets.
Which Micron products are used in AI and data centers?
Micron sells memory and storage products that include high-bandwidth memory, or HBM, DRAM components and modules, graphics memory and data-center memory. Its storage portfolio includes data-center SSDs as well as NAND and NOR flash products. The company identifies AI data centers and edge AI among the markets it serves.
The earnings report therefore adds another data point to the demand cycle around AI computing hardware, while leaving open the mix of products, customers and contracts behind the revenue increase. A separate June report covered an earlier Micron quarter and should not be read as part of the September fiscal fourth-quarter results.
