Glow raises $180 million Series A at $1.2 billion valuation

The endpoint security startup is leaving stealth with backing from Sequoia, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks and Redpoint, but did not disclose revenue or customer counts.

Glow raises $180 million Series A at $1.2 billion valuation

Glow Security Inc. has raised a $180 million Series A and emerged from stealth with a $1.2 billion valuation, the company said. The size of the round gives the endpoint security startup unicorn status before a public product rollout, a signal that investors are still willing to price cybersecurity companies aggressively when AI risk is attached to the pitch.

Sequoia, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks and Redpoint Ventures co-led the financing. Index Ventures, Lux Capital, Swish Ventures and Holly Ventures also participated. Glow said the capital will go toward expanding Glow Labs, its research group, launching its first products and building out go-to-market operations. The company did not disclose revenue, headcount, customer count or terms beyond the valuation.

Glow is targeting enterprise endpoint security as employees adopt AI tools, agents, plugins and packages faster than security teams can approve or monitor them. The company said regular AI usage on corporate devices has risen from 15% to more than 45% in less than a year. It did not provide the sample size, methodology or customer base behind that metric.

Chief Operating Officer Emily Heath told SiliconANGLE that AI has changed how software enters companies because workers can connect tools to company data faster than traditional approval processes were built to handle. She pointed to three categories of risk: employees using personal or free AI tools outside corporate controls, inconsistent configuration of AI systems across endpoints, and the broader ecosystem of plugins, packages, MCP servers and services that modern AI tools connect to.

Glow’s endpoint model

Glow says its platform is built to prevent endpoint risk rather than react after threats appear. The company said it uses specialized AI agents to map endpoint environments, evaluate risk and enforce policies about which applications and tools can run on corporate devices.

According to Heath, Glow’s architecture keeps the agents off the endpoint itself. Endpoint data is sent to Glow’s centralized servers, where the company says more than 100 specialized agents perform analysis, reasoning and policy decisions. Glow claims that design reduces the performance hit on employee devices and helps cut false positives by using broader context about the endpoint, its software, users, connected services and outside intelligence on vendor reputation and known risks.

Those are company claims, and Glow has not published product benchmarks, independent test results or deployment metrics. The company said early adopters span retail, healthcare and financial services, but did not name customers.

Founders with security and platform experience

The round also reflects investor backing for Glow’s executive team. Co-founder and Chief Executive Roi Tiger previously spent nine years at Meta Platforms Inc., most recently as vice president of engineering. Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Omer Singer was formerly head of cybersecurity strategy at Snowflake Inc. Co-founder and Vice President of Research and Development Ophir Arie previously held the same role at Claroty Inc.

Other executives include Chief Product Officer Arnon Joseph, a former senior director of product at Meta and two-time founder, and Heath, who was previously chief information security officer at United Airlines Inc. and DocuSign Inc. Heath also served on the board of Wiz Inc. before its acquisition by Google LLC.

The bet is that endpoint security buyers will need new controls as AI applications spread through enterprises outside standard procurement channels. Glow’s challenge is proving that its AI-heavy prevention model can work at enterprise scale without becoming another noisy control layer for security teams already dealing with tool sprawl.
