Framewerx has acquired AD Micro Technology, a Richmond, British Columbia managed IT provider, in a transaction that closed May 1. The Framewerx acquires AD Micro deal adds a Greater Vancouver operating base to the Alberta company, while the purchase price and other financial terms were not disclosed.

The closing was disclosed by M&A adviser Generational Group on July 15, and SiliconANGLE reported further details on August 6. Framewerx is based in Acheson, Alberta; AD Micro has served Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland since its 1992 founding.

For Framewerx, the practical addition is a regional managed-services operation with a broad set of customer-facing capabilities. AD Micro provides managed IT, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud and storage management, backup and disaster recovery, printer and copier management, voice and data systems, and technical support, according to Generational Group's announcement.

Framewerx sells IT consulting, cybersecurity, cloud services, custom software development, infrastructure management and outsourced IT support to small and midsize businesses. The acquisition extends that service footprint into British Columbia, rather than introducing a disclosed new product category or a reported change in its commercial model.

What does Framewerx's acquisition of AD Micro add?

It gives Framewerx a local delivery organization in Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, alongside its Alberta base, with AD Micro's established managed IT and infrastructure services. Framewerx said it expects to offer a wider service set across both companies' customer bases, but neither company disclosed revenue, customer counts, employee numbers or projected financial effects.

Framewerx also said it plans to combine AD Micro's operating work with Neuralwerx, its AI-based help-desk and security platform, which launched in June. The company has positioned the platform for managed service providers and mid-market customers, including customers seeking help with AI governance.

Neuralwerx's operating figures remain company claims. Framewerx said the platform had a 3.6-minute median first-response time, resolved 92% of tickets within 15 minutes, and closed more than half of reactive end-user issues without technician involvement. It also said Neuralwerx supported nearly 2,000 endpoints at launch. The available reporting does not establish whether those figures will carry over to AD Micro's customers or produce post-acquisition savings.

AD Micro will retain its brand during the transition, SiliconANGLE reported. Framewerx intends to integrate its staff by year-end and said that step would raise total headcount by 30%. That is a planned outcome, not a reported completed integration result.
