Canyon GBS earns Great Place To Work certification

Canyon GBS has earned Great Place To Work certification, with the workplace researcher’s company profile reporting that 100% of employees say it is a great place to work. The Canyon GBS Great Place To Work result is a survey-based measure of employee experience at the Mesa, Arizona enterprise software company serving government, education and other public-serving organizations.

The company announced the certification on Aug. 12, 2026. Great Place To Work’s profile, updated in July, compares Canyon GBS’s 100% result with 57% at a typical U.S.-based company, a difference of 43 percentage points. Canyon GBS used the same 43-point comparison in its announcement.

The recognition is a routine employer certification rather than a Best Workplaces list placement. Certification makes a company eligible for Great Place To Work award lists during its 12-month certification period, but eligibility does not mean the company has been selected for one.

For Canyon GBS, the result provides a public data point on the employee experience behind software delivery in government, education and other accountable institutional settings. The announcement did not disclose headcount, revenue, funding, hiring plans or workforce-retention figures.

What does Canyon GBS Great Place To Work certification measure?

Great Place To Work bases certification on employees’ responses to its Trust Index Survey, which assesses workplace experience through areas including trust, respect and camaraderie. Employees’ reported experiences determine whether a company qualifies, according to the organization’s methodology.

To be considered, organizations must have at least 10 employees, administer the Trust Index Survey and complete a Culture Brief questionnaire. Positive survey responses, defined as ratings of four or higher on a five-point scale, are averaged into a company-wide Trust Index; companies that exceed the current threshold become certified.

The process includes 60 survey statements, two open-ended questions and 14 demographic questions. Great Place To Work also sets distribution and response-rate requirements intended to make the results representative of the full employee population.

Canyon GBS reported a further result from its 2026 survey: every respondent said new hires are made to feel welcome. Cindy Licata, the company’s chief compliance officer, said the recognition reflected employees’ collaboration and commitment as the company builds technology for public-serving institutions.

The company’s enterprise software for public-serving organizations covers relationship management, service delivery, curriculum and content management, operational workflows and data integration. Its description includes connected, secure and AI-powered technology, though the announcement gave no product, customer or revenue figures tied to the certification.
